Marine Cruises is a  private canal boat holiday hire company. Our canal boat hire fleet has 3 classes of boats which range in size from 4 berth to 8  berth and are available from March to October.  Our Scotland canal holiday hire boats are well equipped and come with every item you will need to make your canal holiday run smoothly. All boats have a bathroom with shower, and a galley complete with full size cooker and full size fridge.

The Falkirk Wheel is a significant landmark, rising some 115ft above the Carron Valley – and could easily be described as a ‘Ferris Wheel for Boats’! In the space of one short week you can visit Glasgow & Edinburgh, passing through the Falkirk Wheel, an experience not to be missed on this amazing rotating boat lift, the first of its kind in the world.

A canal cruise should be peaceful and relaxing – a chance to enjoy and unwind. The canals here in Scotland are quite different from any others as you may only encounter minimal boat traffic. In fact, on a Scotland canal holiday, you may well only have the swans gliding serenely past to keep you company!
